emtrion has extended the Linux board support packages (BSP) for the processor module DIMM-SH7724. The newly integrated drivers make available the multimedia components of the processor SH7724 from Renesas. Applications, which are coping with cameras (analogue/digital), video in and video out (encoding, decoding, streaming), H.264 and mpeg-4, can now be realized together with Linux.
