emtrion is looking for an embedded Linux Developer!

In order to continue meeting these challenging objectives, we are currently looking for an embedded Linux developer who should be able to prove his/her competency at least in following areas:

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Sciences, electrical engineering or equivalent.

  • Profound C/C++ Skills
  • Experience on Linux Kernel and system-level programming
  • Basics on Linux System Administration and shell scripting.
  • Ability to write technical documents and to communicate with our customers in English.
  • Good communications skills in German

In addition, following skills are desirable:

  • Experience on CAN field bus,
  • QNX Real Time Operating System or Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) in general,
  • Windows Embedded,
  • version management with Subversion. All kinds of experience on embedded systems and software development in general is considered as an advantage.
